Novelist Louise Miller, NSCC’s 2018 Visiting Writer

Novelist Louise Miller is NSCC’s 2018 Visiting Writer

North Shore Community College will welcome novelist Louise Miller as its 2018 Visiting Writer April 24th & 27th.

Miller is a native New Englander, professional pastry chef, amateur flower gardener, old-time banjo player, obsessive moviegoer, and champion of old dogs.  She will read from her debut
novel, The City Baker’s Guide to Country Living, and her soon-to- be-published second book, The Late Bloomer’s Club.

The City Baker’s Guide to Country Living is a “full-hearted” story about a “big-city baker who discovers the true meaning of home in a small Vermont village….Sometimes the best things are found when you didn’t even know you were looking.”

The readings will take place on Tuesday, April 24th, at 9:30am and 11am in the Danvers Campus library, 1 Ferncroft Road and on Friday, April 27th at 9:30am and 10:30am in the President’s Board Room on the Lynn Campus, 300 Broad Street. The readings are free and all students, faculty & staff, foodies (especially those with a sweet tooth) and the public are welcome!

For more information on the public readings, contact John Zamparelli at jzampare@northshore.edu or at 781-593-6722, x6239.
